MLA Development & Showcase Weekend

Details

Calling all members of graduation classes 2025-2030!

Are you interested in developing your game and being a part of the future of lacrosse in the Mid-South? Do you have a vision for competing at the next level of the sport? Are you looking to compete against regional and national club competition in the summer of 2024?

Join us the weekend of December 9th & 10th, for a development, playing, and evaluation experience with former DI college players and coaches with Memphis Lacrosse Academy. On Saturday, players will be divided up by grade to train alongside some of the best players in the region, then on Sunday, players will compete in a showcase game to be evaluated for MLA’s inaugural club program in the summer of 2024. Invitations and next steps will be sent out during winter break!

Come compete and train with the best!

Garrett Wimberly Face Off Clinic

Details

The MLA face-off Clinic gathers local players together for the opportunity to develop extensive face-off skills and knowledge. Leading the clinic is MLA coach and former NCAA D1 faceoff coach, Garrett Wimberly. Coach Wimberly has an extensive background working with face-off players at every level of the game. The MLA face-off Clinic is dedicated to developing the lacrosse skills of every athlete through the highest quality of instruction. We strive to create well-rounded athletes with the ability to contribute to their teams offensively, defensively, and at the faceoff X. While physical skills are important, the MLA face-off clinic recognizes that the mental game can be the difference between a good player and an elite player. Therefore, we place great emphasis on strengthening these skills.
